This tragedy will bring a lot of attention to our religion, unwelcome though the circumstances are. We and our leaders must respond in a way that demonstrates the power of our faith, and the strength of our church family. Like so many tragedies, it may be a transforming moment, and our responses to it may set our course for years to come. I hope we are all up to the challenge.
